Osha-Hagon

Osha Hagon, R.C.C.

Counsellor

Masters Counselling Psychology (Adler)
Registered Clinical Counsellor #19583

Osha has spent the last 10 years working in the field of mental health and addictions, both in leadership and support worker roles. It is her personal and professional experiences with trauma, bereavement, depression, and anxiety that motivated her to become a Clinical Counsellor. She spent several years working toward overcoming and healing from the challenges she has encountered personally, including being the victim of a hit-and-run in 2009. Together with her personal and professional experience, she has gained an understanding of the various challenges and sometimes barriers people experience when working toward their personal healing and improved wellness, as well as the benefits and positive outcomes that are possible in one’s healing journey.

Osha has personally experienced a transformative and empowering healing process with the help of somatic and experiential therapies, inspiring her use of those modalities in her own professional work. Using a person-centred approach in all her therapeutic work, Osha integrates somatic, EMDR, emotion-focused, mindfulness and yoga, attachment, and acceptance and commitment therapies – depending on her client’s input, goals, and needs. Compassion, safety, trust, and collaboration with her clients is central to her work, and she looks forward to bringing that into her work with you.
